EBU Unveils New Sustainability Identity, Strengthening Its Global Commitment to the SDGs

3rd December 2025

East Bridge University has taken an inspiring step forward in its sustainability journey with the launch of its new Sustainability & Social Impact Logo — a visual identity created to reflect who we are, what we stand for, and the impact we aim to make in the world.

The new emblem visually represents EBU’s mission of building bridges to a better world. Our philosophy is deeply rooted in the university’s academic model, community initiatives, and global development agenda.

A Symbol of Purpose, Progress, and People

The new emblem captures the heart of EBU’s mission, i.e., education, equality, and community. It stands for the bridges we build every day between learners and opportunity, between education and action, and between local communities and global change.

Its elements represent learning, growth, community development, and shared global responsibility. The logo acts as a reminder that sustainability isn’t an add-on at EBU; it is part of our identity and embedded into everything we do.

The logo will now appear across all SDG publications, community campaigns, THE Impact submissions, and outreach programs, symbolising EBU’s ongoing efforts to positively transform lives.

Building a Strong SDG Foundation

Over the last two years, EBU has created a powerful track record of real change across the SDGs, work that directly shaped the creation of this new identity.

Championing SDG 1: No Poverty

EBU’s commitment to SDG 1 is rooted in a simple belief that every learner deserves a fair chance, no matter where they come from. Over the years, we’ve supported underprivileged communities through scholarships, school-based charity drives, food distribution initiatives, and outreach programs across India, Africa, and Southeast Asia.

And we’ve seen the difference it makes when financial barriers are removed. Students gain confidence, families feel supported, and communities begin to hope again. Our work under SDG 1 is not just about providing aid; it’s about opening doors, restoring dignity, and giving people the tools to build brighter futures through education.

Advancing SDG 4: Quality Education

EBU’s flexible, globally accredited online programs continue to remove financial, geographic, and social barriers to higher education.

From our Paris-based academic model to our technology-driven pedagogy, we help working professionals around the world access education that is affordable, transformative, and future-ready.

Promoting SDG 5: Gender Equality

Gender inclusion is a lived commitment at EBU.

We are proud to maintain gender parity across our student base, faculty, and leadership teams, while creating dedicated opportunities for women in research, leadership, and advanced education.

Strengthening SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals

EBU collaborates with NGOs, schools, higher-education institutions, and community organisations worldwide.

These partnerships empower shared initiatives, community programs, and educational innovations, and have contributed to EBU’s presence on the Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings platform, a significant marker of our global credibility.

A Milestone That Looks to the Future

The launch of EBU’s new sustainability identity is more than a celebration. It’s a promise of what comes next.

As we grow, we are committed to expanding our SDG work, strengthening community partnerships, and deepening our impact across the world. And we see this milestone as a starting point for even greater collaboration, more accessible education, and stronger support for the communities we serve.

The new sustainability logo will be our reminder to stay focused on purpose, to act with intention, and to keep shaping a future where learning creates opportunity for everyone.
