The Master of Education (M.Ed.) with TESOL is an advanced distance learning program that equips candidates with the various aspects of Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. EBU’s Master of Education (M.Ed.) with TESOL gives a detailed understanding of the fundamental concepts of TESOL such as grammar and phonology, teaching techniques (Language Skills), classroom and disaster management, and lesson planning. The course provides theoretical knowledge along with the practice of English language teaching using TESOL methodologies.
The program enables candidates to make a mark in the field of English Language Teaching using the skills and knowledge gained through the course which leads to academic development. The course also covers aspects of teaching business English and the theories that accompany the teaching of English in business settings such as need analysis, adult learning approaches, course design, etc. The program also enables the students to develop teaching materials, techniques, and curriculum, and handle large groups of learners in diverse settings.
