Each candidate is required to prepare a research manuscript based on their doctoral study in accordance with the official author guidelines of the PSBU International Conference or an approved PSBU peer-reviewed journal. The manuscript should demonstrate the originality, academic quality, and contribution of the candidate's research to their chosen field. Evidence of submission or publication, as prescribed by the University's academic regulations, must be provided and successfully verified before graduation clearance and the award of the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree. This requirement ensures that every graduate contributes to the wider academic community by sharing research outcomes with scholars, practitioners, and policymakers, while enhancing the visibility and impact of their doctoral research at both national and international levels.

Every doctoral candidate completes a formal Viva Voce examination before an academic panel. This oral defence provides candidates with the opportunity to demonstrate the originality, significance, and academic quality of their research before the award of the Doctor of Philosophy.
The programme culminates in the submission of a substantial doctoral thesis of approximately 60,000 words. The thesis represents original research that makes a meaningful contribution to knowledge while demonstrating academic rigour, critical analysis, and independent scholarly inquiry.
