As the world moves towards a more conscious and responsible future, East Bridge University (EBU) continues to play its part in shaping the next generation of changemakers through education. In line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings, the university is hosting an upcoming webinar titled “Embedding Sustainability and Global Responsibility in Higher Education: The EBU Roadmap to 2030.”
The session will take place on 16th October 2025, from 4:00 PM (India) | 5:30 PM (Thailand) | 2:30 PM (UAE), bringing together students, educators, and professionals passionate about sustainability and the power of education to transform society.
A Conversation About Education for a Better World
This live, one-hour session promises to be more than just an academic discussion - it’s a dialogue about the future.
Leading the conversation will be Dr Karl, Associate Dean of Academics, and Dr Maurice, Chairman of the Board of Academics at East Bridge University. Together, they will share insights into how EBU integrates global responsibility, ethics, and sustainable practices into its academic programs, research, and community initiatives.
The webinar will highlight EBU’s continued commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals, especially:
SDG 1 – No Poverty: Using knowledge to drive real-world social change.
SDG 4 – Quality Education: Making learning inclusive, equitable, and lifelong.
SDG 5 – Gender Equality: Creating opportunities for empowerment through education.
SDG 17 – Partnerships for the Goals: Building bridges across countries and communities for shared progress.
The EBU Roadmap to 2030
During the session, attendees will get a first-hand look at EBU’s vision for sustainable education and its roadmap leading up to 2030. Dr Karl will discuss how innovative curriculum models at EBU nurture critical thinking, social awareness, and environmental stewardship. Dr Maurice will share how the university’s governance and global partnerships are helping to translate this vision into measurable outcomes aligned with the SDGs.
The session will conclude with an open Q&A, where participants can engage directly with the speakers and share their perspectives on how education can be a force for good.
