East Bridge University to Host PhD Program Orientation Webinar for Doctoral Scholars

9th May 2026

East Bridge University (EBU) continues to strengthen its commitment to doctoral excellence by hosting a comprehensive orientation webinar for all PhD students who have joined the program since its launch. Titled “PhD Program Orientation: Essential Guide to Your Doctoral Journey,” this session is designed to provide clarity, direction, and academic grounding at a critical stage of every scholar’s journey.

Reflecting EBU’s growing emphasis on globally connected digital learning environments, the webinar also contributes to broader collaborative international learning experiences that encourage academic exchange across borders.

About the Speaker

The session will be led by Dr Karl S. Meneghella, a highly experienced academic leader and research mentor with over three decades of international exposure across Australia, the United States, Thailand, and England. His career spans school leadership, higher education, and executive coaching, alongside significant contributions to accreditation and quality assurance through roles with global bodies such as ASIC (UK).

With a PhD in Management Science and a strong interdisciplinary academic foundation, Dr Meneghella brings a practical and research-driven approach to doctoral supervision. His mentoring focuses on building analytical rigour, methodological clarity, and research that is both academically sound and professionally relevant.

Webinar Overview: Guiding Your Doctoral Journey

Scheduled for 16 May 2026 at 4:00 PM (Thai Time), the orientation webinar is positioned as a key academic milestone for EBU’s PhD scholars. More than an introductory session, it is intended to help students meaningfully situate themselves within the doctoral journey, understanding what lies ahead, how to approach research with confidence, and how to align their work with international academic expectations.

Through this session, participants will gain a clearer sense of direction, not only in terms of academic requirements but also in shaping their identity as researchers within a global scholarly environment.

Building a Globally Connected Research Learning Environment

This PhD orientation webinar is part of East Bridge University’s growing focus on Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) practices that encourage interaction among scholars, researchers, learners, and students across regions and disciplines. Through our digitally facilitated academic engagements, we provide a platform for participants where they can exchange perspectives, discuss research interests, and become part of a broader international scholarly community.

By creating opportunities for cross-border academic dialogue and peer learning, EBU continues to strengthen its commitment to accessible, globally connected doctoral education that extends beyond geographical boundaries.

Strengthening EBU’s Global Academic Ecosystem

This webinar is part of East Bridge University’s broader initiative to create a dynamic and globally connected learning ecosystem. EBU has consistently hosted expert-led webinars, masterclasses, and academic engagements that extend learning beyond formal coursework.
