A Shared Milestone Across Borders: East Bridge University to Host Convocation 2026 in Bangkok

27th April 2026

East Bridge University (EBU) is all set to host its 2026 Grand Annual Convocation on the 21st of November at the Amari Hotel in Bangkok. As every year, our convocation ceremonies are more than formal graduation events, as they mark a special milestone for graduates, faculty, and institutional partners who have been part of EBU’s evolving educational journey.

The convocation represents a convergence of diverse experiences, bringing together learners from different regions, backgrounds, and professional paths under one roof. It is a moment of recognition, but also of reflection on the varied journeys that have led to this shared milestone.

Recognising Journeys Shaped by Commitment and Access

Behind every graduating cohort are individuals who have balanced academic aspirations alongside personal and professional responsibilities. For many, the path to completing a degree has involved navigating real-world constraints, whether related to time, pace, or financial resources.

EBU’s flexible learning model and financial support systems have made it possible for learners to continue their education alongside these responsibilities. While each journey is unique, there is a shared thread of persistence and commitment that defines the unique journeys of every student.

The convocation, in this sense, is not only a celebration of academic achievement but also an acknowledgement of the effort it takes to sustain that journey over time.

A Global Gathering of Academic Communities

The Bangkok convocation will also bring together EBU’s wider academic network, including institutional collaborators, accreditation bodies, and partners from across Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and Europe.

What makes this ceremony truly meaningful is the recognition of a shared purpose among institutions from across the globe. All our partnerships are built on a common understanding that education today must be collaborative, inclusive, and responsive to global realities. The presence of our academic partners and collaborators reflects the broader commitment of East Bridge University to build a global educational ecosystem that values lifelong learning, enhances academic quality, expands access, and creates connected learning pathways.

In a way, the convocation extends beyond ceremonial milestone. It becomes a space where ideas, experiences, and commitments intersect, quietly reinforcing the role of partnerships in shaping more inclusive and accessible educational ecosystems.

Beyond Ceremony: A Moment of Connection

Convocation ceremonies often mark the conclusion of a formal academic journey. At EBU, they also create space for connection between learners who may have studied across different time zones, between faculty and students who have engaged primarily through digital platforms, and between institutions working toward common educational goals. Bringing this community together in person offers an opportunity to recognise these relationships and the role they play in shaping meaningful learning experiences.

East Bridge University’s 2026 Convocation is a celebration of the acknowledgement of what has been achieved, while also pointing toward the possibilities that lie ahead. The ceremony is a reflection of our continued commitment to building learning environments that are accessible, collaborative, and globally connected.
